So, I just received some astoundingly good news which makes me less bitter, less angst-filled, less likely to climb atop a bell-tower wearing nothing but dance shoes and a semi-automatic. Most importantly though, it makes me feel less poor.
I think it's time to look into the purchase of a pair of hearing aids that I'll actually wear because they're up to receiving the amount of sound I need to hear now, rather than the amount I needed to hear 7 years ago, when my ears worked a whole hell of a lot better.
I also think that taking up dance again is a definite possibility... at least 10 weeks worth of dance, anyway. Beyond that, I'd have to sell a major organ to afford it.
Oh, and saving! Saving! What a concept! Saving for a rainy day, saving for a whole future of rainy days! Hell, I'll even save for the sunny days, too! It's a prospect I'm looking forward to, let me tell you.
Ahhhh! The world just got to be just a little bit rosier.
Now. If only I could find me a boy....
