Um, all I can think of is "Angelina" by Ray Charles. But sadly, that's got more letters than you need. (This is like a crossword clue, right?) Love, R xxx

Is it any of these songs at this page: http://www.answers.com/topic/10-all-time-soul-classics-vol-1-the-best-of-philadelphia-international ? Or this page: http://www.answers.com/topic/10-all-time-soul-classics-vol-2-the-best-of-philadelphia-international ? The 2nd one has a song called Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now which does have 5 words in the title, maybe that's it?

I just remembered something! Remember that song "Adia" by Sarah McLachlan? Ok, it's not that song, obviously, but the title of the song I'm looking for always reminded me of "Adia"... God help me, I'm clinging at threads here...

Was it "A Whiter Shade of Pale"? It's pretty-ish. The original is by Procol Harum, but Annie Lennox did an OK cover of it. It's usually included on the same type of albums that "Grapevine" is on - like the "Big Chill" soundtrack.

No, it wasn't that. That I would have remembered. No, this was definately a one-word title, starting with an A...

There's always The Rolling Stones' "Angie."

Could it be Asia by Steely Dan - "take your big brown cow and get out of here"?

Musicless Mare - 2006-11-09 17:26:20
Nah... I would have remembered Angie or Steely Dan... It's definately not "Whiter Shade..." because I know that song well, and knew it then too. If I didn't remember actually WEARING OUT THE TAPE because I listened to that song so much, I'd think I imagined it. But no... no... it definately existed... whatever it was...

Ok ... you caught me on a quiet day. Try here: http://www.rhino.com/store/ProductDetail.lasso?Number=73869 http://www.rhino.com/store/ProductDetail.lasso?Number=78300 Any of these ring a bell? I'll Be Around - Spinners Any Day Now - Chuck Johnson It's All Right - The Impressions At Last I just know that whenever I'm convinced it's a one-word song that starts with "A" it's something like "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" - which does happen to have a few "A"s in it, you know. Good luck!
